String Quilt – Quilt
as you go!
Our most popular
class! Beginner to Advanced
In this class taught by Debbra, the student makes a lap, double, queen or king
size quilt. The Class is taught in 3 sessions evenings. While you are piecing
the quilt you are doing the quilting. When quilt is finished there is no added
stress to get it quilted!
Taught by Barbara Scott. This is a 6 hour class with a choice of 7 jacket patterns. There is some pre-class prepping so that you can actually get to making the jacket. Some jackets are made on sweatshirt bases or flannel or cotton foundations. Students are making beautiful jackets with some unique fabric colour selections. Check out the pictures.
Taught by Barbara Scott. This class is a 6 hour session and we offer this class on a regular basis. Learn to machine quilt on a cotton sampler. We cover preparing to machine quilt, marking and a variety of machine quilting techniques. Plus lots of great tips!
NEW – Finishing Up Nights/days (It's FREE!)
Hosted by Debbra for FREE, this class is open to anyone has taken one of our classes and needs to get back on track to complete their project. Borders, Binding, Sandwiching your quilt are just a few things you can finish up in our classroom. Pre-registration required.
Taught by Debbra using great flannels and NO Batting! This is a great project for beginners with wonderful results! The student will get the opportunity to create a cozy lap size quilt. This class is taught in 3 evening sessions.
Taught by Debbra. The student gets the choice of 2 patterns “Under the Stars” by Rabbit Factory or “Star Shadow” with Maywood Fabrics. This class is taught in 3 evening sessions. Don’t be afraid of Flannels, they're great and easy to work with, so try making a flannel quilt today. We have an extensive selection of flannel available at Country Patchworks.
Taught by Debbra this is a “ Quilt as you go project” taught in 2 evening sessions. Learn to cut, piece and quilt on one fun easy project. you can do one for every season. They make great gifts for showers etc!
Super Bowl Sunday Memory Quilt Project
Taught by Debbra on Superbowl Sunday, it's a class to get away from Football! Lunch and snacks are included. Choose to use race t-shirts, photos, kids clothes, skating dresses, jerseys etc for the unique theme of your quilt. We will be working Block-by-Block & quilting each block, then piecing the quilt together with narrow strips. It's a fun day of great quilting, join up now as space is limited!
Mariner’s compass Wall Hanging
Taught by Barbara Scott in a 6 hour session. She will be teaching the techniques she learned in Houston October 2007 by Judy Mathieson to complete this project.

Taught by Debbra and Val, this class will take 9 sessions once per month. This is based on "Summer Day Sampler" by Rabbit Factory but our version will be a quilt each row as you go! Learn a number of appliqué techniques, do some piecing and see the great results.

Also we need to have a minimum number of participants to run the class. Refunds only if a waiting list or you have found a replacement for your spot within the 2 weeks before the class. You may transfer your registration to another class if there is room in that class. A supply list will be issued upon paid registration. We do not insist you purchase all of your supplies from Country Patchworks but your support is very much appreciated to help keep the costs of the classes down.
